• Baptisms take place on the first Saturday of every month with one of the priests. Please note, that we will not have any baptisms during the Lenten Season.
• Parents are strongly encourage to attend a baptismal prep-class held monthly by appointment in the parish rectory office. Classes only take place on the second Monday of each month, not including the season of Lent, so please plan to attend at least one month prior to your child’s baptism. Contact the office at 973-777-7588 to book your spot for this important class.
• God-Parents must be Catholic Christian in good standing and should be a God-Mother and God-Father. More information will be given at the baptismal class.
• We thank you in advance for your kind donation made to Saint Clare on the day of your child’s baptism.
• Baptisms take place on the first Saturday of each month at 12 noon.

Sacrament of Matrimony:

* Arrangements are to be made at least ONE YEAR in advance.
The date should not be set until the priest has been consulted. Please contact Fr. Peter Glabik at the parish office once you are engaged for more information..

Sacrament of the Sick:

Urgent calls dealing with death or serious concerns will be attended to at any time of the day or night. If there is anyone at home who cannot get to Mass and the Sacraments because of illness or old age, please inform one of the priests by calling 973-777-7588.

RCIA:
Are you interested in being part of the Roman Catholic Family? Are you currently a member of another faith or perhaps are of no faith as of yet? Consider joining our church and attending the Rites of Christian Initiation Program for men and women that wish to convert to the Catholic Christian Faith. We also welcome people who need to complete the sacraments of Initiations, such as Confirmation.
RCIA is a series of classes that begin the 1st Sunday of October and ends before Mother’s day the following year. Through attending the series of classes you will be taught Scripture, Catholic faith, and Catholic's relationship to God. If you have any interest in the Catholic Faith or desire to become Catholic or desire to complete the Sacraments of Initiation into the faith, call the office, or speak to a priest.
